Chanel unveiled its Fall-Winter 2016/17 Ready-to-Wear fashion collection that comprised of 90-plus looks and here are ten things to sum up the stunning show that unfolded on the runway at the Paris Fashion Week.

– Karl Lagerfeld played messiah for all the attendees as he felt, “Everyone always wants to have a front row seat. And very often they complain that they can’t see the detail. I wanted everyone to be able to see the clothes, and the work that goes into them.” So this season it was front row for everybody as 3,000 gilded chairs were arranged around a 600 meter runway to offer a front-row-seat for all.

- The French label’s Fall‑Winter 2016/17 Ready‑to‑Wear collection was presented at the Grand Palais in a set imagined by Karl Lagerfeld, inspired by the rue Cambon Haute Couture salons where Gabrielle Chanel conducted her fittings and showed her creations.

- Brightening up the blues of the cold season, Karl’s newest creations were dominated by shades of pink, raspberry, candy, fuchsia or magenta for the collection.

– Elegance and delicacy was served on a platter of ruffles and laces as outfits with pleated chiffon, tulle ruffles and cream lace contrast with black patent leather laces were in full galore.

– Karl Lagerfeld accessorizes the silhouettes with layers of pearls worn as necklaces and bracelets.

– Boasting of streetwear trend, the collection also rode high on tweed, leather or felt hats that featured ornamented straps with Byzantine crosses, pearls or camellias. Teamed with most looks, Karl spoke about the highlight on the hats, “it’s like a helmet you can wear on a bicycle or a motorcycle.”

– Models stepped out in tall riding boots featuring a wingtip brogue treatment. Styled in all black or brown leather and some teamed with vibrant tweed uppers, the latest footwear collection also features a bright magenta tweed as well as a denim edition of boots.

– Chanel Autumn/Winter 2016 show at Paris Fashion Week also debuted the quilted eyeshadow. The bag-inspired look that gave an illusion of wearing a veil, was conceptualized by head makeup artist Tom Pecheux.

- Fashionable twosome, Kendall Jenner and her best pal Gigi Hadid walked for the Chanel show.

Dressed in pale pastels, Kendall sported a baby pink leather ensemble with black tights, while Gigi hit the runway in a quilted beige coat and black tights.
