Robert Griffin III Signs With The Cleveland Browns

It looks like Robert Griffin III has found a new home after reaching a new deal with The Cleveland Browns.

According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, Griffin signed a two-year deal.

In a statement released by the quarterback, Griffin expressed his excitement to be with the new team. "I'm excited about the opportunity to join the Dawg Pound and help build something here in Cleveland," he said. "Coach Hue and Pep, I had a great meeting with them. I really believe in what they preach and how they can help not only me as a player but this team win games, and that's what we're all about."

Griffin formerly played for the Washington Redskins, and was released on March 7. Griffin's 2016 option would have become guaranteed on March 9 and would have been worth $16,155,000.

The Browns have already begun welcoming the QB via social media.
