ABC & NBC Networks Refuse To Air Plus Size Lingerie Commercial (VIDEO)

Lane Bryant is attempting to roll out a plus size lingerie commercial starring Ashley Graham and other plus-sized models, for their #ThisBody campaign.  However, the company claims multiple TV networks have refused to give the commercial a spot.

The unaired commercial has allegedly been rejected by ABC and NBC and according to Lane Bryant, neither network provided a reason other than they were turning it down "as is."
The commercial shows Ashley Graham and the other plus-sized models in an implied nude pose. Ashley Graham is also seen kickboxing while wearing Lane Bryant denim, while another model is seen breast feeding.

A representative for NBC says, "As part of the normal advertising standards process, we reviewed a rough cut of the ad and asked for minor edits to comply with broadcast indecency guidelines. The ad was not rejected and we welcome the updated creative."

Lane Bryant, and several others, believe the commercial was turned down due to the models' size, and not due to nudity. Especially since similar commercials air showing thinner women frequently (i.e.: Victoria's Secret ads).

Back in 2010, Lane Bryant and ABC battled it out over a different Ashley Graham commercial. Back then the network denied they banned the retailer's ad.

"Invest in the brand!"
