Leonardo DiCaprio Jokes About Viral Lady Gaga Golden Globes Reaction: It Was 'Funny'

Leo laughed it up!

Leonardo DiCaprio and Lady Gaga joked about the actor's humorous Golden Globes moment — just hours after it went viral. The Revenant star opened up about his reaction after the singer bumped into him during the live broadcast on ITV's This Morning on Thursday, January 14.

"We were laughing about that afterwards. I actually had no idea who was passing me or what was going on, but that was a funny little bit that went around," DiCaprio, 41, told cohosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby. "We were laughing at it at the afterparty!"

Us Weekly exclusively revealed on Tuesday, January 12, that the pair did in fact have a chuckle about it together along with Lady Gaga's fiancé, Taylor Kinney, while partying at the CAA bash at West Hollywood's Sunset Tower.

The stars even watched the clip back, which showed DiCaprio caught off guard when the American Horror Story: Hotel actress, 29, brushed past him. She was on her way to receive the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or TV Motion Picture at the time.

"It’s amazing what goes viral these days, I guess I’m of a different generation now," DiCaprio said on This Morning. "I have no idea where this stuff comes from or how it’s even captured!"

DiCaprio will have plenty more times to bump into Lady Gaga next month — at the Oscars. The pop star and Diane Warren were nominated for Best Original Song for "Til It Happens to You." DiCaprio's drama The Revenant also leads the race with 12 nominations, and he was nominated in the Actor in a Leading Role category. (DiCaprio won the Golden Globe for his work last Sunday.)

"Invest in the brand!"
