Jimmy Choo Spring 2016 Campaign
‘I wanted to convey an upbeat attitude whilst juxtaposing new with old – artisanal vintage references blended with bold, graphic architectural details – to create something modern and surprising,’ qoutes Sandra Choi, Creative Director of Jimmy Choo in support of the label’s Sping 2016 collection and campaign.
The advertising campaign has been shot by Los Angeles-based photographer Cass Bird and features Danish model Nadja Bender alongside American model David Alexander Flinn.
The British fashion brand’s latest SS16 campaign sports a refined casual attitude which reflects the spirit of the collection. Set against the blue skies and palm trees of California, the pictures show Flinn lounging in the sun in bright-colored sneakers and driving a Mustang.
Also Bender is seen in beautiful designs from Jimmy Choo along with their signature heels and knee-high sandals. The stunning collection is created with statement graphics of palm trees combined with bold architectural gestures.
“I wanted the new campaign to illustrate the Jimmy Choo woman and man of today; they have a natural radiance and allure that comes from being confident and self-assured,” said Choi.
She also told WWD, “For the women’s campaign, the imagery captures the modern woman — she’s confident with a laid-back approach to glamour that emanates from her self-assurance and unequivocal personal sense of style.”
For this campaign, Jimmy Choo partnered with New York-based creative agency Laird + Partners for the first time.
Jimmy Choo Spring 2016 is set to hit the March issues of publications including British Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.
