Steve Harvey Jokes About Miss Universe Mistake in New Instagram Pic
Who's laughing now? Steve Harvey won Christmas by turning the tables on jokers who mocked him with a series of memes after his disastrous Miss Universe mistake.
"Merry Easter y'all!" he captioned a pic of himself on Instagram on Friday, December 25. The pic shows the comedian flashing the peace sign as he smokes a cigar by a swimming pool, which is decorated for Christmas.
Harvey made a huge blunder on December 20 when he announced the wrong winner of the Miss Universe pageant during the live TV broadcast. The Family Feud host, 58, named runner up Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez, the winner instead of Miss Philippines, Pia Wurtzbach.
Harvey later apologized on Twitter for the error, and the Miss Universe organization said Harvey is welcome to host the show again next year.
While most commenters on Instagram and Twitter laughed off Harvey's Christmas picture and Easter greeting, calling it "well played," one commenter replied "not for miss colombia."
