Benedict Cumberbatch's 'Doctor Strange' Trailer Debuts on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'

It's finally here! Benedict Cumberbatch revealed the first trailer for his new movie, Doctor Strange, during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday, April 12.

The Marvel film stars Cumberbatch as the Sorcerer Supreme alongside Rachel McAdams and a bald Tilda Swinton (as Strange's mentor, the Ancient One).

The trailer opens with an injured Dr. Stephen Strange being wheeled into a hospital after a car accident.

“You’re a man looking at the world through a keyhole,” the Ancient One tells Strange in the trailer. “You’ve spent your life trying to widen it. Your work saved the lives of thousands. What if I told you that reality is one of many?”

"There are other ways to save lives," she continues. "So much you don’t know."

"Teach me," he pleads.

Sherlock Holmes star Cumberbatch, 39, previously said he was "very excited" to take on the role of the beloved superhero, and told Entertainment Weekly in December that fans won't be disappointed. "There's going to be crazy s--t going on," he added.

Doctor Strange is set to be released on November 4.
