Inside Neiman Marcus’ New Store At Long Island, New York


Neiman Marcus has opened the doors of its 42nd location at Long Island’s Roosevelt Field mall within the U.S. state of New York. The newest American luxury specialty department store, located in one of the most affluent parts of the U.S, spans 106,000 square feet and rises two levels to lay out a paradise for shoppers.


The fourth full-service Neiman store in the New York metro area boasts of an impressive facade that is made of 2,100 tiles that are designed to give an impression of butterflies. The light-filled interior makes this store stand out from most of the other NM stores.


Other noteworthy features to woo shoppers include impressive works by local artists, WiFi and iPhone-equipped sales staff and phone charging stations.


The well-heeled shoppers will fall in love with the memory mirrors by MemoMi. These techie mirrors can capture an image and video of everything a shopper tries on. This enables her to see outfits side by side and ask for friendly opinions on social media platforms.


While cosmetics, fragrances, private spa rooms, designer handbags, a shoe salon, designer jewelry and a precious jewels salon along with the men’s store are housed on the first level of the new store, the second floor raises the bar with couture, designer sportswear, evening dresses, intimates, Cusp departments as well as Neiman Marcus Cafe.


The luxury wing built by Simon also showcases a Tory Burch boutique along with other brands like Tom Ford and CĂ©line.


Neiman Marcus, renowned for its fantasy Christmas gift list, also plans to open its first Manhattan address, a 250,000-square-foot department store in 2018.
