Curly Hair Emojis Now Exist! Here's How to Get Them for Your Phone

Ever scrolled through your phone, looking for the perfect emoji and noticed that your hair texture is just not represented? That ends on Nov. 4, when Dove released a series of curly haired emojis for all occasions to join the already-existing straight-haired ones.

No matter if your locks are short, long, wound in tight ringlets, or graceful waves, there's now an avatar that fulfills your every hairstyle need. Rainy day giving your curls a humidity problem? There's an emoji for that now. Finally nailed Kate Middleton's signature bouncy blowout? Yep there's one for that too. Take a look at the full keyboard of images below.

The new collection is part of Dove's ongoing #LoveYourCurls campaign, which focuses on celebrating and taking pride in all types of curly, natural hair. "Dove Hair is committed to… ensuring women and girls see accurate reflections of themselves in the world around them, including… social media — which is why we're so excited to introduce the Dove Love Your Curls Emojis," Unilever said in a statement. "1 in 3 women in the United States have curly or wavy hair, yet there are zero images of these women today in the increasingly common language of emojis. That felt wrong to us, so we're fixing it and hope by doing so, we will continue inspiring all women to love their curls."
