And that’s a wrap! The 2015 American Music Awards brought out stellar performances, former exes, and even some rain. Hosted by Jennifer Lopez, the star-studded show aired live from L.A.’s Microsoft Theater on Sunday, Nov. 22.
Highlights from the big show included performances by Justin Bieber, Alanis Morissette, Meghan Trainor, and Celine Dion. Other stars that graced the stage were Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Walk the Moon, One Direction, and The Weeknd.
Check out the top five highlights below:
1. Alanis Morissette Gets Some “You Oughta Know” Help
The alternative rock singer-songwriter belted out her 1995 classic to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its release. She was joined by Demi Lovato, who was just 3 years old when the song first hit the airwaves. "So much fun performing with @ddlovato at the #AMAs #JLPMoment,” Morissette captioned a Twitter pic of the two Sunday night. Lovato, who brought her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama to the show, also sang “Confident” during her own set.
2. Meghan Trainor Steals the Show With Crazy Kiss
What just happened?! Trainor and Charlie Puth left audiences absolutely shocked when they ended their “Marvin Gaye” duet with a full-on makeout session. Puth even grabbed the “Dear Future Husband” singer’s butt. The “See You Again” crooner later tweeted a silly kissing emoji of the stars and clarified dating rumors. “Before it begins...we are just friends,” he tweeted. “So happy to perform with meghan tonight!! thank you for all the love everybody!”

"I am so lucky to have that great woman in my history. She is one of the greatest I've ever seen [clapping],” he told Access Hollywood at the time. “We're great as friends. I'm great as a fan right now."
4. Justin Bieber Gets Drenched a la Rihanna During Three-Song Medley
No umbrellas for him! The singer — who dropped his fourth studio album, Purpose, this month - closed out the show by singing his songs “Where Are U Now,” “What Do You Mean?,” and “Sorry.” He may have dropped his mic while water splashed down on him on stage, but Selena Gomez’s ex kicked up his heels and put on quite a show with his backup dancers.
5. Celine Dion Performs Powerful Ballad to Honor Paris Attack Victims
Jared Leto introduced the powerhouse singer to the stage to pay tribute to those affected by the Nov. 13 Paris attacks. Dion brought the audience to tears with her
