Dawn Overdose for Rolls-Royce by Vittorio Strosek

The latest creation of SPOFEC (a name derived from compressing Spirit Of Ecstasy) Overdose for Dawn Rolls-Royce, co-created by esteemed German designer Vittorio Strosek, features a wider flank with flared wheel arches and more horsepower.

Headquartered in Stetten, Germany, the SPOFEC GmbH is part of the NOVITEC Group, an esteemed and experienced company which now presents a new division that deals exclusively with the customisation of Rolls-Royce vehicles.

Limited to just eight sets worldwide, the standard twin-turbo V12 engine has been tweaked to take the car performance capabilities and torque to a higher level. The horsepower is up by 115hp from 686hp and the torque jumps to 980Nm from 820Nm, resulting in a 0-100km/h time of just 4.6 seconds. With the 22-inch wheels, the car rides 40mm lower to the ground than a standard Dawn and allows travel speed up to 140km/h.

The widebody is designed to look less jarring to luxury motoring purists, and SPOFEC has also given some serious attention to the rocker panels, flaring them out subtly, so that the exterior lines still flow. The fade-resistant carbon ceramic braking system is made lighter and more effective than the standard braking setup, allowing the car’s unsprung weight to be significantly reduced. Plus, a boost to the engine power means that the rear portions of the rocker panels feature vents for extra cooling.

With meticulous attention to detail and combined stunning design, Dawn Overdose’s personalised interior blends seamlessly with the carbon fibre bodywork and all body additions: the engraved lettering on treadplates, the elegantly embroided headrests and seats enveloped in Mandarin leather.

The new Dawn Overdose is created in mind to bring out the best of what Rolls-Royce is renowned for. Marked by the iconic automotive marque’s unsurpassed level of craftsmanship and engineering finesse, Dawn Overdose is one of a unique offering that seeks to bring utmost comfort and unrivalled luxury to prospective motorcar owners.
