Bentley Bentayga Mulliner is the most luxurious SUV ever made

Ahead of its official launch at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, Bentley has pulled the wraps off the bespoke Bentayga Mulliner. Described as the ‘ultimate luxury SUV’ by the carmaker, the Bentayga Mulliner takes the flagship SUV’s luxury quotient to a different level by packing more opulent interiors and adding that extra bit of panache. Built in collaboration with Bentley’s in-house personal commissioning division, the extra-plus Bentayga features two-tone paint, chrome grilles in the lower fascia, color-matched lower bodywork, and 22-inch Paragon wheels with weighted centers that always display the Bentley logo upright.

However, most of the special treatments can be found inside the cabin. The Mulliner edition sets itself apart with two-tone leather seating along with the hand-stitched upholstery finished with unique embroidery and contrast stitching. A new Ombré Burr Walnut Veneer is exclusive to the Bentayga Mulliner and features a unique wood transition from black to Burr Walnut. Additional interior features include a system Bentley calls mood lighting which comes with six options, illuminated Mulliner tread plates and the ‘highest quality audio system in the class’, a 20-speaker system with a 1,950-watt, 21-channel amplifier. The luxury SUV comes with a refrigerated compartment in the rear center console that also features storage for a pair of Cumbria Crystal flutes.

The technical specifications of the Bentayga Mulliner have not changed from the standard flagship model. The same 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 petrol engine can be found under the hood that churns out 600 horsepower and over 660 pound-feet of torque. Bentley has not revealed the price or the number of units that will be made.
