Christian Louboutin Shoepeaks
Christian Louboutin launches his latest design, Shoepeaks. The French designer Louboutin takes his love for shoes to a different level with its newest creation that speaks for itself. The clutch bag named Shoepeaks minaudiere is part of the brand’s spring-summer collection 2017.
The Shoepeaks is crafted using two iconic So Kate’s pumps. Conceived at Louboutin Paris atelier, the bag was carved from wood, using the last of the So Kate pump. Once the prototype was created, it was taken to the designer’s factory and reworked tirelessly until it achieved the ideal shape. The clutch was designed to be carried with ease so it was fabricated from lightweight material. The bag is polished and a metal or lacquer finish is applied to create a shiny surface. And the red soles affixed to both sides. The result is a mysterious, surreal work of art.
The bag is considered as an objet d’art not only because it was designed beautifully and creatively but bringing together the essence of two iconic pumps to create a bag is extraordinary. The signature style that made his stiletto famous is the red soles and frame of heels.
The clutch bag has a hard case that shape into a shoe to pays homepage to Louboutin’s passion for creating amazing and sculptural shoes. The inside of the bag is lined with nude lambskin, which echoes the designer’s shoe. Additionally, on the inside, the brand’s gold logo is nicely embossed. What’s more! The enigmatic bag also comes with a discreet clasp on the back. There is also a gold chain that can be easily removed. The understated removable gold chain allows buyers to wear the bag over the shoulder or across the body for those lazy days. Buyers can also go for a gold metal or a classic black lacquered metal clutch.
The 140mmx 190mm x 65mm clutch bag, maybe the designer’s most creative bags. In fact, the Shoepeaks clutch bag is the most visually captivating products to date. Christian Louboutin’s fans can finally hold the red soles that made the designer famous in their hands too with the Shoepeaks. Priced at $3,500 the bag is now available online and stores.
The Shoepeaks launch also accompanied a photoshoot and video campaign captured by Berlin-based photographer Billy & Hells. The campaign short film is a series of seductive photos that capture the appeal and ambiguity of the clutch and most importantly seduce the viewer.
