Beyoncé and Jay Z 'Came Out Stronger in the End' After a Rocky Few Years, Says Source

The Bey-hive is still buzzing over all the bombshells dropped in Lemonade, but Beyoncé and Jay Z have put the drama behind them.

"They definitely went through a rough patch a couple years ago, but they came out stronger in the end," a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE.

On Beyoncé's sixth studio album, infidelity is a major theme throughout many of the tracks (the witch-hunt is still on for "Becky with the good hair"), but forgiveness and recommitment is also featured prominently.

In 2014, whispers of an impending split reached a fevered pitch after video leaked of the "Formation" singer's sister Solange attacking her brother-in-law in an elevator after the Met Ball.
At the time, sources told PEOPLE fashion designer Rachel Roy provoked Solange.
On Saturday, Roy posted a photo on Instagram seemingly identifying herself as "Becky," but the designer released a statement Tuesday denying she is the woman at the center of the cheating rumors. Singer Rita Ora – after being attacked by Beyoncé fans for possibly being "Becky" as well – denied the accusations on Twitter, saying she has "nothing but the [utmost] respect for Beyonce."

"Invest in the brand!"
