New Colorway Gucci’s Velvet Waist Bag

Retro is riding high this season and we cannot get enough of it! Recently, Gucci unveiled its take on the archaic yet super practical bag of all time – The waist pouch! Once criticized for being unfashionable and boring, the midriff bag is back in full swing and is being explored by fashion houses to its full potential. After introducing its leather variant this year, Alessandro Michele has now come up with its Velvet version that we simply cannot say no to!

The iconic fanny pack forms part of Gucci’s ensemble in two bold colorways – a bright fuchsia and a blue beaut. Each piece is constructed from premium leather that is further enveloped with a classic velvet material. The front of the pouch bears the intertwined G’s in gold which are matched up by a metal zipper of the same kind. It also bears a minimalistic zigzag stitching for an added bit of panache. Each of these fabulous GG pieces is made in Italy with the use of superior matelassé velvet.

The Marmount belt bag doubles as a waist cum cross body pouch and comes with an interior open pocket and an adjustable belt closure. It sizes up to a neat 7″W x 4.5″H x 2″D and is easy to carry with all attire.
