Bentley Continental GT Galene Edition
Bentley has launched a new special edition Continental GT Convertible that is inspired by luxury yachts and is named after the Greek goddess of calm seas. Named the Bentley Continental GT Convertible Galene Edition by Mulliner, it is one of the final few of the special models based on the current Continental GT before the new version arrives in 2018. The Galene Edition by Mulliner has been created in collaboration with Princess Yachts and flaunts yacht-inspired design elements inside and out. The luxuriously appointed limited-edition droptop features a yacht-like Glacier White paint on the outside with Sequin Blue motifs. The maritime-theme-inspired touches are further exhibited in the dark blue-finished canvas top and 21-inch Propeller alloy wheels beautified by the Mulliner division.
On the inside, the dash has Glacier White paint and it is adorned with hand-painted illustration of a super yacht next to the Mulliner script by Spanish illustrator Jaume Vilardell. A new bespoke open-pore wood finish called Pinstripe Walnut adorns the swanky interior. The open-pore trim is present on the center stack and console. The special edition is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that churns out 500 horsepower. Only 30 examples of the limited edition Bentley Galene will be made, and, of course, pricing has not been released by Bentley.
