Inside Saint Laurent’s Newly Renovated New York City Flagship

The creative director of Saint Laurent, Hedi Slimane, has been on a pursuit of redesigning the label’s stores all over the world. The fashion house’s latest store to get a stunning makeover is their 57th Street flagship in New York City. It also opens up as the largest and the only tri-story Saint Laurent store in the United States.

The 12 year old store’s style has undergone extensive renovation with the usage of about 19,500 square feet of  blanc statuaire and noir soie marble. Other predominant materials featured throughout the Art Deco–inspired space include mirror, polished metal, concrete, glass and quilted black leather upholstery. Spanning 14,000 square feet and three levels, the Parisian label’s flagship in the Big Apple was closed for 259 days renovations before the reopening.

The newly done up Saint Laurent NYC flagship is home to the full lifestyle brand experience of men’s and women’s products which are displayed on the first floor. The second level features women’s shoes, accessories and ready-to-wear while the third floor is reserved for men’s offerings.
