Per the Guerlain tradition, we part with one fragrance from the Aqua Allegoria each year, only to be introduced with its equally invigorating counterpart. However, the brand has played it a tad bit differently this time by bringing back four scents from the collection’s archives. So, in addition to new annual player, Guerlain’s AA collection now rounds off with a total of 10 perfumes, each being more mesmerizing that the other!
Since its launch it 1991, the Aqua Allegoria range has remained loyal to its theme that echoes – “inspired by nature, created by Guerlain”. And thus unveils 2018, the refreshing Aqua Allegoria Passiflora, a floral and fruity concoction by Thierry Wasser, in continuation of the brand’s legacy. With passionfruit at its core, the fragrance offers refreshing notes of lemon, grapefruit, mandarin juice and bergamot, with a rounded base of ylang-ylang and orange blossom. It is available as a 75 ml and 125 ml Eau de Toilette and is easily one of the most inviting scents of the collection.
In addition to the new star, this year sees a come-back of the Nerolia Bianca (described as the spirit of bitter orange and a note of orange blossom), the Teazzura (earlier known as the Tokyo and described as the spirit of green tea with a note of sparkling citrus fruit), the Limon Verde (described as the spirit of lime with a tropical green note) and the Rosa Rossa (described as the spirit of rose and a note of litchi and originally called the Pivoine Magnifica.) All of Aqua Allegoria’s new entrants are now available for sale worldwide.
