HEALTHY food is CHEAPER...

DISCLAIMER: I'M NOT LICENSED OR FORMALLY TRAINED. BUT I KNOW WHAT THE HELL I'M TALKIN ABOUT. CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG...

Nutritionally:
-Junk food is carb food, like pastries, breads, potatoes, corns. Carbs can easily excess in the metabolism and be stored as fat, as the body innately goes into survival mode when it handles excess food. A maximum of 20 carbohydrates per serving is sufficient.

-Junk food is also loaded with sodium/salt which stores water, and basically bloats you up.

-Junk food is greasy, like fried, or buttered foods, which clogs arteries, contributes to strokes, heart attacks, and various types of cancers.

Economically:
-DESPITE the fact that most healthy foods are priced higher than junk food by unit. BUT healthy food is more satiating, therefore you don't consume as much, as frequently. Hence, you spend less on smaller quantities.
-Healthy foods benefits you IN THE LONG RUN. It's an investment into your own body. If you take care of your body, your body will take care of you. Healthcare would not be such an issue in America if people ate healthy. I would assume medical debt takes up a majority of most Americans' debt.
