Do We Always Have to Learn the Hard Way???

My 3 Pillars of Happy Living:
  1. The world isn't perfect and you aren't perfect.
  2. Everyone isn't like you and you aren't like everyone else.
  3. We all have to learn the hard way sometimes.

I had to question that last one. It seemed a bit exaggerated to me. A lot of things in my life I did learn the hard way, but some things I didn't. Then I look at a lot of people in my life, where ever I go, and even on television.

And you would think foresight was enough to prevent them from putting themselves in predicaments they knew they didn't want to be in...but NOPE.

It seems like no matter what you tell someone, no matter how much you warn them...THEY JUST HAVE TO LEARN THE HARD WAY.

But I had an epiphany. If the 3rd pillar is questionable, I can always rest on the other two.   Because if people have to learn the hard way and others don't, that must mean the world isn't perfect, neither am I since I had to learn things the hard way sometimes too.

And if the world isn't perfect, then everyone isn't like me and neither am I like everyone else. So who am I to hold contempt or judgment against them.

A great part of life is learning to live with everyone else...but most importantly, learning to live with yourself...

...stay alive.
